Who Am I?

I'M MICHAEL PRINCE & I TAKE CARE OF BUSINESS!

WELCOME!

It may seem strange for someone so "seasoned" as myself to embark upon multiple careers and paths, but I like to think that everything I have done is all woven together.

As a film and video editor I have done it all: features, shorts, documentaries, corporate video, sports, martial arts, web/ social, television, promos and more! I have written scripts, stories, articles, copy and more. In this new world of design, I am utilizing all skills at my disposal to help users on their journey.

While learning these new UX I have taken some jobs in the customer service field. Believe it or not, this has grown my empathy towards users: learning what customers want and need, being able to anticipate their needs before they even know it, and finding out best practices for organization and user journeys has been vital in the education towards this new path.

It comes down to one simple item: Problem Solving. Putting the puzzle pieces together, finding different solutions, discovering new ways in which to tell stories... It all fits together. (So to speak).

Completed a rigorous training designed for entry-level job readiness. 15 modules included topics like: UX research fundamentals, inclusive design, low-ﬁdelity and high-ﬁdelity prototypes, and tools like Figma and Adobe XD. Completed hands-on projects and developed a portfolio including 3 projects to receive the certiﬁcate.
